Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy

Based on the approach of Linda Hartley, this bodywork modality uses healing touch, body awareness, sound, somatic movement therapy, and dialogue to help integrate body and mind, and generate a feeling of wellbeing and "at-homeness" in your body and in your life.

This method, which is not widely available in Germany, is based on the principles of Body-Mind Centering®, Somatic Psychology and Authentic Movement. It also draws on current research in the field of psycho-neuro-immunology as well as thousands of years of eastern medical and spiritual knowledge.

Through specific touch of different bodystructures and -tissues (such as organs, glands, bones, nerves, blood, fat, connective tissue, lymph fluid) you will develop a very sophisticated body awareness. The touch is precise and clear and includes gentle connection, light rocking of the whole or part of the body, pulling or sometimes the application of strong pressure. At times you are guided through movement sequences or explorations. The work releases tension and blocks that have built up in your body and allows you to experience core inner support and strength.

Many psychological issues manifest themselves in the body as physical disorder, ranging from restricted movement in a specific body-part to chronic and serious illness. Deep bodywork and somatic movement processes offer an effective and powerful way to support the body´s innate intelligence and healing power. You can recover stability, health and joy in your life.

The effects of a session are varied and many:
Better body awareness, expanded range of movement, more effortless movement often accompanied by an improved body feeling and a higher level of self-esteem and confidence.
Having a clear awareness of your own body leads to a more respectful attitude towards yourself, your body and your life. This awareness expands your range of movement and action both physically and psychologically.
